What inspired your theme art submission?

I was inspired by sci-fi. I’m a huge scifi needs and I’m always in the middle of reading some scifi story.

If your theme art had a soundtrack, what songs would be on it and why?

If my art had a theme I would say Make this Right- The Toxic Avenger.

What’s something unexpected you’ve learned through your involvement with E11?

The most unexpected thing I’ve learned in my 13 years of attending element 11 is that there is always an opportunity to change and experience new things.

What first drew you to Burning Man and/or Element 11, and how many times have you been to E11 and/or Burning Man?

I would say the community and the authenticity first drew me to Element 11. I’ve been to burning man 5 times and element 11 13 times.

What is your most memorable moment at E11?

Naming my most memorable moment is hard. But it might be creating Channel 11 with my wife Secelia last year.

How are you going to interpret this year’s theme at the event?

I’m hoping to display all sorts of vaporwave, 80s, and scifi content at element 11.

What is your favorite principle and why?

My favorite is probably Radical self expression.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about authenticity, creativity, and trying to figure things out.
