What is your position at E11 and how long have you been in the org?

I started as Finance Director in 2023 and will be Board Chair starting 2025

What first drew you to Burning Man and/or Element 11?

My dad, who is an E11 Ranger, first drew me in! I had a goal to attend Burning Man after I graduated but then covid happened. My dad, who is usually right 😉 suggested Element 11 as a starting point so I joined him at Cosmic Carnival in 2022 and was hooked.

How many times have you been to E11 and/or Burning Man?

I have been to E11 three times in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Burning Man two times in 2023 and 2024.

What is your most memorable moment at E11?

It’s always the unpredicted moments. Making new friends, reconnecting with old ones. My favorite memory in 2024 was convincing some virgins to buy tickets and join me on the adventure. I’ll never forget seeing them experience the city for the first time at night. Learning about the community and finding their natural places within it.

How are you going to interpret this year’s theme at the event?

Embracing a future that will undeniably involve technology but also encourages and enhances human creativity. Experiencing new mediums and ways to interact with art and each other.

What is your favorite principle and why?

Immediacy. For me immediacy means fully letting go of worries and feeling a little more comfortable in my own skin. Taking things for what they are and not what I might think they should be. Truly being in the moment and appreciating it, because I am exactly where I should be.

What are you passionate about?

Learning in any way I can. Be that reading about useful and not so useful topics online, trying new recipes with my partner, exploring our beautiful earth, or seeking new ideas and perspectives.
