Job Posting: Community Director for Element 11, Inc.
Element 11, a pioneering artistic community and event organization, is in search of a proactive and talented Community Director. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a knack for promoting positive imagery and encouraging active community involvement. With a hands-on approach to our brand’s presence, this role is pivotal in crafting our narrative through various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Branding and Communication:
- Advance the positive image of Element 11 and promote community involvement.
- Ensure consistent messaging, feel, and branding across all communication mediums.
- Create promotional/educational materials, media, and the Salt Shaker newsletter.
- Oversee updates to website content and ensure its accuracy.
Community Engagement:
- Foster a strong social media presence on platforms like Twitter, FB, Instagram, etc.
- Design and execute calendar events for all Element 11 happenings.
- Collaborate with RCs to uplift E11 community events, including Decompression.
- Drive theme art application processes and coordinate with the Art Director.
- Create and distribute the What Where When Guide and Survival Guide.
Media Management:
- Coordinate E11 media production, branding, promotion, and messaging.
- Maintain website platform, ensuring search engine optimization and content relevance.
- Oversee the recording of Town Halls, uploading videos to E11’s YouTube channel.
- Spearhead E11 Event Video initiatives, from ideation to presentation.
- Gather annual media from the community to document events.
Event Planning:
- Manage theme camps and event planning at events.
- Design event maps in collaboration with the Theme Camps Director.
- Coordinate wristband designs, printing, and delivery.
- Budget and Volunteer Management:
- Set and adhere to the Committee Budget.
- Recruit, oversee, and manage volunteers for departmental lead roles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or a related field.
- Proficient in social media platforms, SEO, and website management tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passionate about fostering community involvement and Burner culture.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous engagement with Element 11 or similar community-driven organizations.
- Skills in media production, branding, and promotional content creation.
